Plain-language privacy for the Restaurant Support beta
This page explains how Restaurant Support handles information during the beta. It is written in plain language for first public review and may be updated as Restaurant Support grows.
Beta privacy note
This page is not legal advice and should receive final legal review before wider public rollout.
Restaurant Support may collect information from candidates and managers so the service can help with recruitment support, communication, and profile or request handling.
Candidate information may include role preferences, city or suburb, availability, CV details, profile details, work-rights information, photos, certificates, and messages shared through the website or official Restaurant Support support contact points.
Manager information may include staffing needs, location, timing, business details shared later in the flow, and communication records linked to requests for staff support.
Candidate profiles are intended to remain consent-first. Restaurant Support should not share a candidate profile or CV with managers until the candidate has clearly agreed.
Candidates may choose visible or private settings in the recruitment flow. Restaurant Support aims to respect those settings and any updated removal requests.
Restaurant Support may store website chat sessions, website manager request drafts, website candidate profile drafts, and related chat messages so the service can continue a draft from the same device during the beta.
Contact details are optional in the current website-native beta flow. Candidate profiles are still intended to remain consent-first, and Restaurant Support should not share a candidate profile or CV with managers until the candidate has clearly agreed.
Restaurant Support does not sell personal data. Information may be used to operate the service, improve the product, provide support, and maintain safety or anti-fraud records.
If you want your information corrected or removed, contact team@restaurantsupport.com.au. Restaurant Support may need to confirm identity before removing data linked to a recruitment profile or staffing request.
Candidates should not send passport, bank, or other highly sensitive identity documents casually in chat unless Restaurant Support clearly asks through an official channel and explains why they are needed.
Restaurant Support does not sell personal data. Deletion or removal requests can be sent to team@restaurantsupport.com.au, and beta flows may change as the product improves.
This beta privacy page should still receive final legal review before broader public launch.
